A love for materials, geometric shapes and decorations

Why Paumes De Terre? This is a play on words (in French) that sounds like 'potatoe' (growing in soil and clay) and also 'clay hands'. Might sound better in French

The process of ceramics creation starts mainly with the hands. Every pottery day, my palms are covered in clay. And contrary to common belief, clay is not dirty, but noble.

There is also a poetic and reassuring side to plunging your hands into clay. Hand palms placed on a ball of clay to center it on a wheel. A simple and delicate touch to begin the formation of more elaborate shapes. A delicate and fragile sensitivity.
