Green marli bowl on red glaze - braiding pattern

A regular and symmetrical pattern for a braiding effect, with small butterfly shapes. The raw glazeon the exterior walls presents a delicious contrast with the softness of the enamel on the interior walls.

This bowl was turned then stamped by hand, each pattern requires 9 applications of 4 or 5 different tools. The enamel is fine and delicate, applied on a soft and polished glaze. The green is dressed in rusty and metallic reflections in reaction with the iron oxide in the glaze.

Maintenance method :
Clean by hand with clear water or with a small amount of soap. Can be occasionally put in the dishwasher. Use a soft brush to clean the patterns if necessary.
