Pearl green and white marli bowl on red glaze - hydrangea motif

A regular and symmetrical pattern for a braiding effect, with small butterfly shapes.

This bowl was turned then stamped by hand, each pattern requires 9 applications of 4 or 5 different tools. The green and bronze enamel, with pearlescent effects, contrasts with the textured white slip. Hydrangea flowers delicately open on the marli rim of the bowl. The white slip reveals the red glaze in response to the pressure of the tools on the surface.

Enamels, earthenware.

Maintenance method :
Clean by hand with clear water or with a small amount of soap. Do not go in the dishwasher. Use a soft brush to clean the patterns if necessary.
