Green and blue bowl on ivory clay - origami pattern

A regular and symmetrical pattern, a game of pyramids and stars, mountains and valleys... an origami game.

This bowl was turned then stamped by hand, each design requires 8 applications of 5 different tools. The outer surface of this bowl is very delicate, soft and almost illuminated and shiny.

This clay is a sandstone fired at high temperature, a well-closed and impermeable clay. The clay rose to 1270°C, making it impermeable and beautifully vitrified.

Materials :
Glaze, stoneware.

Maintenance method :
Clean by hand with clear water or with a small amount of soap. Can be occasionally put in the dishwasher. Use a soft brush to clean the patterns if necessary.
