Blue and green mug on black clay - tartan pattern

A regular and symmetrical pattern for a tartan effect, lines and patterns of weaving and sculpture.

This cup has been pinched and delicately shaped; each design requires 9 applications of 4 or 5 different tools, squares, rectangles and lines. The complexity of the pattern lies in the regularity and delicate repetition.

The outer part is slightly rough and contrasts with the softness of the blue and green glaze.

Materials :
Glaze, stoneware.

Maintenance method :
Clean with a slightly damp cloth. Do not go in the dishwasher, do not clean with soap or detergent.
